গত ২০ ডিসেম্বর ২০২০ তারিখে জ্বালানি দক্ষতা ও সংরক্ষণ কার্যক্রমে উদ্ভাবণী অর্থায়ন বৃদ্ধিতে Bangladesh Infrastructure Finance Fund Limited (BIFFL)  ও স্রেডা  এর আলোচনা সভা আয়োজিত হয়। উক্ত সভায় জ্বালানি সাশ্রয়ী ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল যন্ত্রপাতির জন্য স্বল্প সুদে ঋণ এর সুবিধাগুলি নিয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা হয়। এক্ষেত্রে স্রেডা এসকল সাশ্রয়ী প্রকল্পে কিভাবে সহায়তা করতে পারবে তা নিয়ে আলোচনা হয়। প্রসঙ্গত উল্লেখ্য, স্রেডা আওতায় জ্বালানি দক্ষতা ও সংরক্ষণ বৃদ্ধিতে অর্থায়ন প্রকল্প চলমান রয়েছে। এ প্রকল্পে IDCOL  এর পাশাপাশি BIFFL ও একটি বাস্তবায়নকারী প্রতিষ্ঠান। এ প্রতিষ্ঠান থেকেও জ্বালানি সাশ্রয়ী ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল যন্ত্রপাতির জন্য ঋণ গ্রহণের সুবিধা রয়েছে। যেসকল যন্ত্রপাতিতে স্রেডার পক্ষ থেকে ঋণ প্রদানের NOC দেয়া হচ্ছে তা স্রেডা ওয়েবসাইটে রাখা আছে। এ প্রেস নোটের সাথেও তা যোগ করা হলো।
